Let’s review the episode 2 and it was about bringing you awareness of your limiting beliefs. Before you begin working on your goals it is imperative that you work on your limited mindset. I encourage you to listen to episode 2.
Being the best version of yourself is to keep your mind healthy and there are best practices to detox your brains.
1- Setting up a routine for downtime for 10-15 minutes
2- Include a regular 30 minute exercise which releases endorphins naturally boost mood and reduces stress.
3- Quality sleep- Adequate sleep is crucial for mental well being and adequate cognitive function
4- Healthy eating- A balanced diet with plenty of fruits, vegetables and whole grains can possibly impact your mood
5- Social Connection- Spending time with love ones and maintaining strong social ties and it is essential for happiness.
6- Mindfulness- It can help manage stress, improve focus, and enhance self-awareness. Remember breathing is very important to reduce stress, improve heart health, better oxygen exchange, reduce inflammation, improved immune system, increased energy, improve exercise tolerance and reduce hot flashes. The practice of being aware which requires observing your thoughts, feelings and surroundings and paying attention to what is happening right now.
7- Set achievable goals-Set realistic goals and celebrate small accomplishments. For example, I will run 1 mile for 2 weeks.
8- Engage in hobbies- Find an activity that you enjoy like any sports, teaching, or doing anything you find enjoyment.
